Through its Speakers Bureau program, the Delaware Humanities Forum offers a wide selection of informal lecture / discussion presentations designed to promote a better understanding of the world in which we live. These presentations are offered to “Speakers Bureau Members” and by advanced reservation only.
Speakers Bureau Memberships are free and one-year in duration. Each new membership year begins on November 1. Presentations can be reserved* at any time during the membership year at a cost of $50 each for non-profit organizations and $100 each for other types of organizations. (*Subject to funds availability.)

The Speakers Bureau program is utilized by all types of community groups, including school and civic associations, service clubs, faith-based organizations, historical societies, senior centers, libraries and more. Our presentations are designed to be appeal to various audiences and to be enjoyable, but also to serve the higher purpose of stretching participant's minds and imaginations.
Speakers Bureau topics fall into three main categories: Arts, Culture & Society and History. Visit our index of speakers' topics and click the speaker's link for his or her contact information. Please refer to the published instructions on how to make a reservation.
Humanities topics often overlap, so please be sure to review our entire listing of topics - you may find your favorite presentation in an unexpected place! New topics are added throughout the year, so check back often, and call us if there’s a topic you are looking for.
